This World Humanitarian Day, we’re proud to spotlight the team at Woodstock Center for Nursing and Healing and a special tradition that continues to bring their community together.

Held in loving memory of Tracey Martin-Trone, RN, MSN, the 5th Annual Cherokee County Animal Shelter Dog Food Drive is collecting much-needed supplies for animals throughout the community.

From July 1 through September 11, supporters can contribute dog and cat food, treats, toys, blankets, towels, cleaning supplies, puppy pads, cat litter and more. A GoFundMe has also been established in Tracey’s honor, with contributions benefiting the Cherokee County Animal Shelter.

Across Empire Care Centers, we love seeing our centers find meaningful ways to connect with and give back to the communities around them. Woodstock Center’s annual drive is a wonderful example of that spirit.
